Chicago: A 25-year-old man was shot outside of a Chicago O'Hare International Airport terminal in Illinois on early Wednesday after an altercation among multiple people, police official said.

According to a Chicago Police Department news release, the man sustained two gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The injured victim was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

The shooting occurred on a street outside Terminal 2, according to the news release. Local television footage showed what seemed to be a shattered window near the baggage claim area.

Police informed that another person was being interviewed regarding the shooting that happened outside the airport terminal.

The shooting took place near Terminal 2, which serves airlines such as JetBlue, Air Canada, and Alaska Airlines.

Two days ago, an armed man was shot and injured by Secret Service agent near the White House.

The incident happened while the US President Donald Trump was out of town to spend his weekend in Florida.

According to the statement, Secret Service agents discovered the man's parked vehicle near 17th and F Streets in Washington around midnight. The vehicle was located near the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, adjacent to the White House.
