The Pokemon cartoon premiered in Japan in the year 1997 and became an instant hit. It was created after being inspired by the video games of the same name created by Nintendo for the Game Boy. This cartoon was designed around fictional creatures classified under the fire, water, grass, electric, ground, psychic, etc. categories who were caught in a Pokeball by trainers who later trained them for various competitions in the Pokemon world.
