Attempt to Hijack Dubai-bound plane in Bangladesh, passengers evacuated: UPDATES

Update at 8:00 PM: Lone hijacker has been arrested by Bangladesh police. 

Update at 7:35 PM: Bangladesh Army Commando went inside the aircraft and rescued all the passengers. Inside the plane, two hijackers were found injured. The situation is currently under the control of Bangladesh Army Commando.

Dubai-bound Flight BG 147 from Bangladesh made an emergency landing 6:15 pm at Chittagong's Shah Amanat International Airport due to attempts of hijacking. As per reports all the passengers have been evacuated. 142 passengers were onboard the plane at the time of the incident. 

Bangladesh Police Forces have surrounded the plane after emergency landing.
