Riyadh: Saudi Arabia has released it official statement after the US struck three nuclear sites in Iran. “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is following with deep concern the developments in the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States of America," wrote the foreign ministry on X.

Reaffirming its statement issued on June 13, 2025, when Israel launched its offensive ‘Operation Rising Lion’ on Iran's military and nuclear facilities, to dismantle its nuclear capabilities, Saudi Arabia “condemned and denounced the violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran," and underscored the need to exert all possible efforts to exercise restraint and de-escalate tensions. 

Further, the Kingdom called on the international community to intensify its efforts to push for a political solution during this “highly sensitive period" to bring an end to the crisis and usher a new chapter of peace and stability in the region.
