She triumphed over 108 contestants from around the world, with Miss Ethiopia finishing as the first runner-up, Miss Poland securing third place, and Miss Martinique taking fourth place.
Who Is Suchata Chuangsri ?
Opal Suchata Chuangsri, a 21-year-old beauty queen from Phuket, Thailand. Opal has been crowned Miss World 2025 at the 72nd Miss World pageant held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. Born on September 20, 2003, Opal was raised in a family of hoteliers in Phuket.
She pursued her education at Triam Udom Suksa School in Bangkok, where she majored in Chinese studies. Currently, she is a Political Science major specialising in International Relations at Thammasat University. She is fluent in Thai, English, and Chinese.
Suchata's Journey to The Miss World
Opal’s journey in beauty pageants began in 2021, when she competed in Miss Rattanakosin. She later participated in Miss Universe Thailand 2022, finishing as the third runner-up, and was later promoted to second runner-up. In 2024, she won Miss Universe Thailand, representing Thailand at Miss Universe 2024, where she finished as the third runner-up.
In April 2025, she was crowned Miss World Thailand 2025, securing her place in the Miss World 2025 competition.
Advocacy and Social Work
Opal is deeply committed to women’s health awareness. After undergoing surgery at 16 to remove a benign breast lump, she launched the “Opal For Her” campaign, focusing on breast health awareness and early detection. Her advocacy work has earned her recognition as a champion for women’s empowerment.
Miss World 2025 Victory
At the Miss World 2025 grand finale, Opal impressed the judges with her confidence, intelligence, and commitment to social causes. The event featured several elimination rounds, culminating in the final four contestants answering a jury question, which helped determine the winner.
Nandini Gupta, representing India, secured a spot in the Top 20 at Miss World 2025.
