A few people are of the opinion that an image including Speaker, Nancy Pelosi and President, Donald Trump, would have been a masterpiece if it were to be made into a painting. A "masterpiece"
Someone talked about the way Nancy and Trump were facing each other and stated that it was a very strong political moment that was captured and compared it to Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last supper". Pelosi used the image as a cover photo for her official twitter account. The picture proved to be something to look up to for Pelosi's supporters whose stance in the picture came across as someone literally taking a stand against the American president.
The 'Aslocutio' pose
According to a few art experts, Nancy's expressive stance against Trump was something that has been found throughout the history of art. Pelosi's posture with her right arm stretched out and a finger pointing towards the American President was considered to be the Aslocutio pose (a Latin word in ancient Rome that was used in relation to the king addressing his army and was also considered a common form of salute done by the army to their leader).

"The Meeting"
The picture is practically symmetrical as one could draw a straight line down the center that would separate the two sides across the table right down to the 2 clocks stand on the side of the table. In Renaissance design, balance basically meant that intellect had a greater standing than other things.

An art expert stated that the picture was rather quiet on the surface but had a lot to say to those who understood the picture and it is because of the same reason many people are comparing it to a painting. Many people titled the picture "The meeting" because it encapsulated a lot of messages and captured the issues plaguing the Trump administration in a single frame.
