Viral video: Miami mall Alien encounter hype - Aliens, rumours, and the real story

A video was circulating the social media last week claiming a 10-foot alien outside the shopping mall in Miami. Moreover, this clip also showed a huge police force in that area which was there after a New Year’s day fight between teenagers at the mall, according to Forbes, which was presented as the alien video.

After all this the Miami Police department  cleared that they were there for a big fight which ended up with multiple arrests and they also told the media that there was no presence of extraterrestrials at the scene. The reporters also talked about having an active shooter in the area and many police cars coming at the scene, the social media sites like X and others had a rumour that there was no fight but the police was there to handle "8-10ft tall shadow aliens".

One user posted, "I don't know if the rumours about the aliens at the Miami Mall are real but I do know I never seen this many police in one place."

Actor William also shared his reactions on this video, "So apparently space aliens visited a mall in Miami?"

There is one low quality video which is circulating on social media that showcases a tall creature walking in between the police cars and the Bayside Marketplace of Miami, which is a two-storey open air shopping centre.

Later there was clear footage that appeared on X in which 2 to 3 people, likely police officers, were walking together between the squad and the area near the mall.

People who are spreading the rumours also mixed the videos of people running from the area to claim there is a creature actually present on the spot.
