A woman made an emotional plea to Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Tuesday to help her family in Cameroon.

The woman fell to her knees in front of Morrison during his visit to the northern Australian city of Rockhampton.

She sobbed as she told him about what she described as genocide taking place in Cameroon.

Morrison told the woman that he would ask a local lawmaker to help her.
