After the Court hearing on his PIL seeking a CBI probe into Sunanda Pushkar's murder, Dr. Subramanian Swamy spoke to Republic TV's Editor Niranjan Narayanaswamy on his take on the progress and ongoing investigations in the country's most high profile murder case.

In the interview, Dr. Swamy detailed his basis for seeking an SIT-monitored CBI case into Sunanda Pushkar's murder and spoke about the ongoing proceedings in court. Dr. Swamy also congratulated Republic TV for bringing out fresh leads and evidence in the interest of justice, and said that the tapes put out by Republic had contributed to strengthening the case for a SIT-monitored CBI case.

On Wednesday, during the hearing, the High Court said it would hear all parties concerned on the next date of hearing, which was set as July 20, 2017. It was on the basis of Dr. Swamy's PIL that the court also sought the Central Government's view on the matter on Wednesday.
