2025 Kia Seltos Variants Upgraded: Check What’s New

New Features in Seltos: Kia India has updated its compact SUV, Seltos for the Indian market. For buyers who are planning to opt for the lower trims of the Seltos, Kia India has upgraded the list of convenience features offered on the base variants. Kia Seltos’s HTE (O), HTK, and HTK (O) variants get new features for the buyers. Regarding the engine options, it continues to offer three variations of engines for the buyers.

“The Seltos continues to be the largest contributor to our overall sales due to the value it delivers to customers. With the addition of new variants for the Smartstream G1.5 engine, we are offering even greater value. These new variants will further boast a strong demand,” Mr Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. VP and National Head, Sales and Marketing said.

Here’s everything that buyers need to know before planning to opt for the 2025 Kia Seltos

2025 Kia Seltos HTE (O) variant:

Buyers who are planning to opt for the base model of the Seltos will now get more features. Kia India has upgraded the convenience features offered in the HTE (O) variant of the Seltos. It is now offered with halogen projector headlamps, rear-door sunshade curtain, sunglass holder, shark fin antenna, digital instrument cluster and others.

Price of Kia Seltos HTE (O) variant: ₹11.12 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1.5 Naturally aspirated petrol engine.

2025 Kia Seltos HTK (O) variant:

The HTK (O) variant is above the HTE (O) variant. For the buyers planning for the HTK variant of the Kia Seltos, the update in features consists of a panoramic sunroof, 16-inch alloy wheel, mood lamps, cruise control, and more.

Price of Kia Seltos HTK (O) variant: ₹12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1.5 Naturally aspirated petrol engine.

2025 Kia Seltos HTK+ (O) variant:

The HTK+ (O) variant brings in quite a new convenience feature for buyers who are planning to opt for the Kia Seltos. The HTK+ (O) variant gets LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, electronic parking brakes with the IVT transmission, auto fold ORVM, 17-inch alloy wheels and others.

Price of Kia Seltos HTK+ (O) variant: ₹14.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for the 1.5 Naturally aspirated petrol engine.

2025 Kia Seltos Engine Options:

The buyers of the 2025 Kia Seltos have three engine options to choose from. There is a 1.5L inline four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 115BHP and 145Nm torque, mated to a six-speed manual or an iVT gearbox.

The second engine option that buyers can choose is a 1.5L inline four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which produces 160BHP and 253Nm torque, mated to a six-speed IMT or a seven-speed DCT gearbox.

The buyers of the Kia Seltos also have an option to opt for a diesel engine. There is a 1.5L inline four-cylinder diesel engine, which produces 115BHP and 254Nm torque, mated to an six-speed manual or an automatic transmission.
