Maruti Suzuki Price Hike: India’s leading passenger vehicle manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, announced a 4 per cent price revision for its models from April 2025. According to the exchange filing, the price update will depend on the models and variants. The auto manufacturer further cited rising input costs and operational expenses as the reason for the price hike.
The exchange filing further said,” While the Company continuously strives to optimise costs and minimise the impact on its customers, some portion of the increased cost may need to be passed on to the market.”

Maruti Suzuki recently made a price revision on its entry-level model, Alto K10 and updated its safety features. The company introduced six airbags as standard fitment across the variant lineup, making it the most affordable car with six airbags in India. The Alto K10’s base variant, Standard got a price revision of ₹10,000, while the top variant, VXI+ got a price hike of ₹14,000. The updated price of Alto K10 starts at ₹4.09 lakh (ex-showroom).
Buyers of the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 have a single 1.0L petrol engine on offer, which can also be opted for with a CNG option.
With the update of the Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki also updated the Celerio with six airbags as a standard fitment across the variant lineup and made a price revision. The price revision was made to the AMT variants, making it dearer by ₹5,000.
Buyers of the Maruti Suzuki Celerio have a single 1.0L petrol engine on offer, which can also be opted for with a CNG option.
Maruti Suzuki Ertiga LXI variant saw a price revision of ₹15,000. However, the automaker made a price hike of ₹10,000 on the rest of the lineup. The new price starts at ₹8.84 lakh (ex-showroom) for the LXI variant.
Buyers of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga can opt it with a 1.5L petrol engine or with a CNG option.
