Skoda Kodiaq Discontinued in India, Next Generation Launch Soon

Kodiaq Delisted in India: Skoda India has silently delisted its Kodiaq SUV from its Indian website. The Kodiaq is due for an update and the latest generation of this SUV was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Kodiaq was the flagship product from Skoda for the Indian market, available in a single Laurin & Klement (L&K) variant. This delisting of the Skoda Kodiaq indicates that the new generation might be launched for the Indian market in future. Currently, the brand sells the Kylaq, Kushaq and the Slavia for Indian customers.

Skoda Kodiaq was equipped with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine, which delivered 190BHP and 320Nm torque, mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Regarding features, it offered a panoramic sunroof, digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, and other convenience features.

The last recorded price of Skoda Kodiaq was ₹40.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

Upcoming Skoda Kodiaq 2025:

The forthcoming Kodiaq from Skoda Auto will be the flagship SUV, which will encompass multiple updates on the exteriors, features, and interiors.

Regarding the exteriors, the Skoda Kodiaq has a revamped design for the front with new sleek LED headlamps and LED DRL and will run on 20-inch alloy wheels. There is a black cladding that runs around the car which helps in reducing the visual bulk. At the rear, the new Skoda Kodiaq will have newly designed taillamps and LED DRLs with a connected treatment.

On the inside, there is a two-spoke steering wheel with Skoda lettering, a new design for the dashboard and multiple convenience features. On the features side, it is likely to offer a wireless charger, a 13-inch infotainment screen, a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, and other convenience features.

Upcoming Skoda Kodiaq 2025 Engine Specifications:

Coming to the engine options, the upcoming Skoda Kodiaq is equipped with a 2.0L inline four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, producing 201BHP and 320Nm torque, paired with a seven-speed DCT gearbox. The new generation of the Kodiaq is slightly more powerful as compared to the previous generation.
