Ratan Tata has issued a written note to clarify the status of his health. The note says that he is aware of the ‘rumours’ circulating about his health. He has called these claims unfounded and has expressed that he is currently undergoing medical checkups due to ill health. “There is no cause for concern. I remain in good spirits and request that the public and media respect and refrain from spreading misinformation,” the signed note said.
 



The former Chairman of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata, was reportedly admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on Monday where doctors have announced his condition to be ‘stable not critical.’

Reports claimed that Tata was rushed to the hospital around 12:00-i:00am and admitted top the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) where a team of cardiologists looked into his health condition. While there were speculations in various reports about his health condition, Tata released a clarification in the morning, claiming to be stable.

One of the most iconic industrialists of India, Ratan Tata has been instrumental in pushing Tata Group to the global stage and making it a major powerhouse. Tata was born in 1937 and took the reins of the company in 1991. Tata was instrumental in extending the global presence of the company with the acquisition of iconic brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Tetley Tea.  One of the key milestones of Tata has also been the launch of Tata Nano in 2008. Under his guidance, the company grew from $5 billion dollars to a $100 billion conglomerate.

Tata is also widely known for his philanthropy in the segments of healthcare, education, and rural development. His legacy is defined by his commitment to nation-building and putting India on the world stage.
