Air India introduces direct Bengaluru-Singapore nonstop flight

Operated with an Airbus A321 aircraft, the flight features a two-class configuration with 170 economy and 12 business class seats.

Bengaluru-Singapore non-stop: Air India has announced the commencement of a nonstop service between Bengaluru and Singapore. Launched on October 22, this new service offers a convenient direct link between the two cities, as stated in the company's release.

Flight AI 392 will depart from Bengaluru at 22:30 hrs, reaching Singapore at 05:40 hrs the following morning. The return flight, AI 393, will take off from Singapore at 06:40 hrs and land in Bengaluru at 08:35 hrs, all in local time.

Operated with an Airbus A321 aircraft, the flight features a two-class configuration with 170 economy and 12 business class seats. It will operate four days a week, specifically on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Air India anticipates that this new connection will bolster tourism and trade between the two cities, facilitating travel for leisure, students, and the business community.

Increased frequency of Mumbai-Singapore flights

Additionally, Air India has expanded its frequency from Mumbai to Singapore from seven flights a week to 13 flights a week, starting from October 22.

With this increased frequency and the launch of the Bengaluru service, Air India is currently offering a total of 38 non-stop flights to Singapore each week, connecting from Delhi (14 flights), Mumbai (13 flights), Chennai (7 flights), and Bengaluru (4 flights) to the 'Merlion City.'

Air India's commitment to expanding connectivity and increasing flight frequency on both domestic and international routes aligns with its ongoing efforts to enhance its network and fleet with new aircraft, marking a significant aspect of the airline's transformation journey, as stated in the release.
