Noida International Airport releases three letter IATA code
At the announcement, CEO, Noida International Airport, Christoph Schnellmann said that the Zurich Airport is committed to the timely delivery of the project.

The Noida International Airport which is slated to start services by 2024 end, has finally received it's IATA code.
The code received is DXN. From commercial perspective, this airport code will be applicable for all transactions.
An IATA code is like a pincode for an airport this is governed by IATA's governing rules.
At the announcement, CEO, Noida International Airport, Christoph Schnellmann said, "We are committed to the launching date for the commencement of services."

"DXN symbolises our presence Delhi (D) Noida (N) and X signifying Connectivity and establishes our presence in the NCR," Schnellmann added.
In an earlier interview with Republic, Schnellmann had said that the first phase of the airport wil start operations by the end of 2024, while test flights from the airport will commence six months prior.

Because of its location in the middle of the industrial hub of the National Capital Region, the NIA is likely to heavily service the cargo shipments.
The airport is likely to cater to 12 million passengers per year in Phase I, which is estimated to grow up to 70 million per year by Phase IV.
