Tata Steel Receives Rs 1,755 Cr Demand Notice Over Alleged Excess Coal Mining

Tata Steel has received a demand notice of nearly Rs 1,755 crore due to alleged excess coal mining. 

However, the Mumbai-headquartered steel manufacturer's top management noted that the demand lacks justification and substantive basis; will pursue suitable legal remedies.
