Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer responsible for managing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and monitoring the organization's network infrastructure. The candidate will ensure high availability, performance, reliability, and security of network services across office, data center, and broadcast environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Manage and troubleshoot Cisco/Aruba/HPE switches, routers, and network devices.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, STP, LACP, port channels, and inter VLAN routing.
• Manage IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS, and network connectivity.
• Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, latency, packet loss, and network availability.
• Troubleshoot network issues using Ping, Traceroute, ARP, DNS tools, Wireshark, and other diagnostic utilities.
• Configure and troubleshoot firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and security policies.
• Monitor network devices using Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar monitoring platforms.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, IP address lists, and configuration backups.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for internet, leased line, MPLS, fiber, and network-related issues.
• Handle network incidents, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
• Perform network upgrades, firmware updates, and planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure network redundancy and availability for critical systems.
• Support server, virtualization, storage, CCTV, VoIP, and other IT infrastructure connectivity.
• Provide network support for broadcast and media systems, including playout, newsroom, editing, graphics, and production environments.
• Maintain proper network security standards and access controls.
• Prepare incident reports, RCA documents, and network performance reports.
• Participate in 24×7 support / rotational shifts when required

• Routing protocols – OSPF, BGP (knowledge preferred)

Network Security
• Firewall configuration and troubleshooting
• VPN – IPsec / SSL
• Network access control
• Basic network security and hardening
• Understanding of IDS/IPS concept
Tools
• Wireshark
• Ping / Traceroute
• PuTTY / SSH
• Nagios / PRTG / SolarWinds
• Network configuration and monitoring tools
Preferred Certifications
• CCNA – Preferred
• Fortinet / Palo Alto certification – Advantage
Educational Qualification
• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related
field.
• Relevant networking certification will be an added advantage.
