Dream11 touches 200 million registered users

Dream11’s increasing popularity: Dream11, the fantasy gaming giant, has reached a milestone of 200 million registered users, as announced by its co-founder and CEO, Harsh Jain. This achievement comes at a time when the online gaming industry is grappling with the imposition of a 28 per cent GST regime.

Harsh Jain conveyed the news and expressed his gratitude to the Indian user base via X, formerly known as Twitter. He acknowledged the country and its users for their support and enthusiasm.

This significant growth in registered users underscores the surging popularity of gaming in India. However, it is worth noting that Dream11 is currently facing a considerable challenge, with a hefty Rs 28,000 crore GST notice issued by the Directorate General of Goods and Services Tax Intelligence (DGGI), Mumbai Zone.

Despite this, Dream11's milestone of 200 million registered users reflects the company's resilience and the growing interest in fantasy gaming in the country.
