Recruitment platform Redrob has raised $4 million (about Rs 33 crores) led by Murex Partners and DS & Partners, the company said Monday.


The AI-based platform for people discovery was founded in 2018 and the fundraise marks their first, or seed round.


After the fundraising, the company is expanding its online testing platform for people search which uses AI to reorganise global data in a comprehensive format for networking and recruitment.


Redrob’s co-founder and CEO Felix Kim said the company will “break down country-specific silos of contextual knowledge,” thereby bringing a shift to how people engage online.

Redrob said it is bringing AI to every stage of recruitment - from candidate search to messaging to interviews. The company also announced the release of an Online Skill Tests. 


“South Korean and U.S. companies are increasingly looking to hire Indian talent but do not know where to start. We hope Redrob will be able to solve this problem of information asymmetry.” said, Han Joon Lee, Senior Vice President at DS & Partners.

Redrob has over 200,000 users across the U.S., India, and South Korea.
