Jammu, India - Jammu and Kashmir are once again in the grip of heightened security activity as Indian forces launch aggressive counter-terror operations, exposing Pakistan’s continuous role in fueling terrorism in the region. With back-to-back developments—**unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) deployed in Hiranagar, a massive arms haul in Poonch, and NIA raids across Jammu—**India is sending a clear message: no more safe havens for terror networks.
The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint operation late on March 23 after intelligence reports warned of terrorist movement in the Saniyal area of Hiranagar, Kathua. As forces moved in, a firing incident was reported, confirming their worst fears—Pakistan-backed infiltrators were active in the region.
With the Rising Star Corps leading the charge, security personnel cordoned off the area and deployed UAVs to track terrorist movements from the sky. “Based on Intelligence Input regarding the presence of terrorists, a Joint Operation has been launched… Operations in Progress,” the Indian Army stated on X.
The hunt is on, and sources suggest that at least two heavily armed terrorists may be cornered in the area. The use of UAVs marks a tactical shift—Pakistan’s usual playbook of using border villages for cover is being neutralized by India's superior surveillance and swift action.
In a parallel development, the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps and J&K Police conducted an intelligence-based operation in Surankote, Poonch, dealing another massive blow to Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. A staggering cache of heavy arms, ammunition, IEDs, and narcotics was recovered, preventing what officials described as a "major terrorist attempt" in Rajouri and Poonch.
The operation, dubbed "Nandiyali," targeted terrorist supply chains operating from across the border. Sharing visuals of the recovery, the Indian Army confirmed:
"On 23 March 2025, Recovery of Heavy Arms, Amn, IEDs and Narcotics was made in an Intelligence-Based Joint Search Operation by #IndianArmy and #J&KPolice from #SanglaTop, #Surankote #Poonch; spoiling a major terrorist attempt in Rajouri & Poonch area and disrupting their operational capabilities."
This isn’t just a lucky interception—it’s another damning piece of evidence proving how Pakistan continues to push arms and drugs into India, funding its terror ecosystem under the garb of “freedom struggle.”
While the Indian Army is hitting terrorist hideouts on the ground, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been cracking down on the over-ground workers (OGWs) enabling these infiltrators. In a massive operation on Wednesday, multiple locations across Jammu were raided as part of case RC-04/2024/NIA/JMU.
The case is linked to recent terrorist attacks on security forces and civilians, orchestrated as part of a larger Pakistani-backed conspiracy.
According to intelligence inputs, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) operatives had infiltrated through the International Border (IB) and Line of Control (LoC), receiving direct assistance from local OGWs in border districts.
NIA’s search teams targeted the homes of OGWs, terror sympathizers, and logistical support networks in at least 12 locations in Jammu. Several incriminating materials were seized, including documents linking local handlers to their Pakistani masters.
Officials confirm that OGWs played a crucial role in providing shelter, money, and transportation to terrorists, helping them navigate through tough terrain into areas like Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch, and Kashmir Valley.
What’s unfolding in Jammu and Kashmir right now is not an isolated event—it’s part of Pakistan’s decades-old playbook of using cross-border terrorism to destabilize India. Terrorists infiltrate from Pakistan, aided by OGWs embedded in J&K’s border regions.
Arms, explosives, and narcotics are smuggled in, ensuring a steady supply of sleeper cells. Pakistan’s intelligence agencies provide training, funding, and operational guidance, keeping J&K on the boil. The pattern is too well-documented to ignore, yet Islamabad continues to play the victim, crying the “Kashmir issue” while shielding UN-designated terror outfits. The latest crackdown proves that Pakistan is still actively managing terror operations, despite international pressure and diplomatic embarrassment.
With the Army tightening its grip in border areas, NIA dismantling terror logistics, and UAVs tracking terrorists in real time, India’s response to Pakistan-backed terrorism is getting more ruthless by the day.
The next few days will be crucial—as the operation in Hiranagar intensifies, security forces may eliminate or capture the terrorists hiding in the region. The NIA, meanwhile, is expected to make multiple arrests as investigations into the OGW network progress.
India has made it clear—there’s no escape route for terrorists anymore. Whether it’s cross-border infiltration, weapon smuggling, or local sympathizers giving shelter to jihadists, the hammer is coming down hard. And Pakistan? It can keep peddling lies, but the world knows who the real culprit is.
