Synergy of states to benefit them from policies on semiconductor sector: PM Modi
PM Modi asserted that successful G20 events held across the country have left a positive impact.

Semiconductor push: Asserting that the semiconductor and chip making was now expanding across the country’s expanse, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said that the government is keen on a synergy between the private sector and the government to boost this sector.
During his address at the Rajya Sabha, the PM said there is immense work happening on the semiconductor sector front adding that lakhs of youth are being benefited with employment. “With the help of semiconductor sector-friendly policies, we can see every state contribute for the semiconductor sector soon,” said the PM.
PM Modi asserted that successful G20 events held across the country have left a positive impact. “We held G20 meetings across the country and their success has been immense,” said the PM Modi.
Trade and tourism
The trade and tourism in J&K have increased manifold, for which a lot of effort has been made by the central government. Developmental works in Jammu & Kashmir and the North East has worked at a fast pace. “We are ensuring fast-track development of Jammu and Kashmir where lakhs of people are directly or indirectly associated with tourism,” said PM Modi.
He said the government will continue working for developmental goals in the Union Territory as well as the North East region. The PM said country held several meetings of G20 successfully, which is a model to replicate in rest of the world.
Notably, PM Modi has last month inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple development projects in J&K. He also launched the Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors Project (JKCIP) on Thursday.
