ADRE Exam 2024: 2nd Phase of Exam for Assam Govt's Grade III Posts Today | Check Timings, Guidelines
Assam ADRE exam for bachelor degree level posts and HSLC level (driver) posts of Grade III will be held today.
Guwahati: The second phase of written test of Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE), 2024 will be held across the state on Sunday, September 29. The exams for the recruitment of government's Grade III posts will be administered by the State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC). The first phase of the examination was conducted on September 15 with mobile internet services suspended across the state.
Additionally, mobile internet services will be disabled in the state on Sunday for 8 hours from 8.30 am in wake of recruitment test, a government order said on Saturday. The suspension of mobile internet/ mobile data/ mobile wi-fi connectivity will be in place from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm, an official release said on Saturday.
To enhance the convenience of aspirants who will travel for the exam today, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will be running six pair of special trains to facilitate candidates appearing for the examination. There were as many as 18.50 lakh applicants for Assam govt's Grade III posts. In the second phase, Assam ADRE exam for bachelor degree level posts and HSLC level (driver) posts of Grade III will be held today.
Exam Timings:
The written tests of ADRE will be held in two shifts on Sunday. The first shift starts at 9 am ends at 12 noon, and the second at 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm. A total of 7,34,080 candidates are eligible to appear for the examinations to be conducted across the state.
As per the guidelines issued, ADRE aspirants are asked to carry their admit card along with a ID proof to the exam center. ADRE Grade 3 admit card 2024 were already released and candidates can check and download the same from the official website.
Assam ADRE Exam 2024 Guidelines
- Candidates appearing for the exam are advised to reach the exam centre at least one-and-half-hour before the examination commences.
- They are advised to verify the location of examination centre a day in advance to avoid any last minut inconvenience.
- Candidates are advised to wear half-sleeved shirts and sandals instead of shoes to quickly finish frisking.
- Candidates are allowed to carry water bottles in the examination hall, however, there should not be any stickers on the body of the bottle and the bottles must be transparent ones.
- While for female candidates, there will be separate enclosures with one Anganwadi worker/ helper or ASHA worker to be present near the frisking area.
