About All-India Bar Examination:

The All-India Bar Examination (AIBE) is conducted to assess whether law graduates are qualified to practise as advocates in India. It ensures they have a strong understanding of fundamental legal principles and professional ethics.

Passing the AIBE is mandatory for law graduates to obtain the Certificate of Practice (CoP), which grants them the right to practise law in courts across India.

The exam evaluates candidates' legal knowledge and their ability to apply it in practical situations. The minimum passing score is 45 percent for the General and OBC categories and 40 percent for the SC, ST, and Disabled categories.
