Bihar TET Exam Postponed, New Dates To Be Announced Soon

New Delhi: The Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled to be held by the end of June has been postponed, said Bihar School Examination Board. The Bihar TET exam was scheduled to be held between June 26 and June 28.

The Board said that new dates would be announced soon. The Bihar School Examination Board said that the decision to postpone the TET was taken as two exams were clashing on the same date. The Bihar Public Service Commission has also scheduled exams for the recruitment of headmasters on June 28 and 29.

The new dates are expected to be announced within two days, said reports.

What is Teacher Eligibility Test? 

The Bihar Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted for the teaching candidates of primary, secondary and higher schools as employed teachers are only awarded the status of state government employees once they pass the TET.
