CBSE has issued 6-digit security PINs, also called ‘access codes’, which are required to download digital copies of important academic documents such as marksheets through DigiLocker.  

According to the board, these access codes have been sent to schools via their DigiLocker school accounts. It is the responsibility of the schools to share these codes individually with each student to ensure safe and private access to their digital records. 

CBSE Class 10 results follow a 9-point grading system. Grades are assigned based on rank among passed candidates, divided into eight equal octiles. This system is aimed at reducing pressure by avoiding raw marks while still reflecting relative performance.
 

If there is an error in your personal details, such as your name or date of birth on the CBSE marksheet, you need to submit a correction request through your school. Along with the request, you must provide: 

• A photocopy of your admit card 
• A valid identity proof 

CBSE will process these correction requests within 30 days after the results are declared. 

CBSE will provide free psychological counselling services starting the day after the Class 10 results are declared. The support will be available 24×7 for one week, aiming to help students and parents cope with stress and anxiety post-results.

After the results are announced, CBSE will publish detailed statistics on its official websites, including overall pass rates, regional performance, and data based on gender.

Students who score below 33% in any subject in the board exams are required to appear for the compartment exam to pass. This exam is meant only for those who have failed in one or two subjects, while successfully passing the others. 

The CBSE has introduced new guidelines for students regarding the re-evaluation process. If a student notices any error in their marks or evaluation, they must first apply for a photocopy of their answer sheet. Only after receiving this copy can they proceed with the verification or re-evaluation of marks.

The CBSE is yet to confirm the exact date and time for the Class 10 and 12 result announcement.

The Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) is an alternative way for students to check their CBSE board results for 2025. To use this service, students must dial 24300699, adding their area code before the number. Once connected, an automated voice will guide them to access their results easily.

Students can also check their Class 12 CBSE results using the Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). To do this, they need to dial 24300699, adding their area code before the number. Please note that each call will be charged at 30 paise per minute for one roll number. 

To pass the CBSE board exams, students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent in each subject. This is the required mark to be considered as having passed. If a student misses the passing mark by just one or two marks, the board may grant grace marks to help them pass the subject.
