CRPF Jawans take up chalks and pens to teach in a school amid Jharkhand para teachers' strike

In the wake of the continued protest by the Jharkhand Para teachers Association, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has taken up the responsibility to teach the students in schools of Ramgarh district. Para-teachers strike has severely affected the education at government schools across the Jharkhand state.

Setting a positive example across the country, personnel of the force dropped guns and picked up chalks to become educators. In a bid to exemplify that CRPF is always committed to serving the people in every possible way, security force taught the school students since their education was getting affected due to the strike by the para teachers.

"Sensing this imbroglio of the situation, CRPF decided to intervene in a prominent way. Primarily dealing with guns and explosives, they undertook an unfamiliar charter of pen and chalk. Though they have been perpetually involved in teaching activities here and there to help the needy and marginalized in Maoists-affected remote locations of the state, this time it was combined efforts put together of all the CRPF Units in the State," read a press statement from the security force.

According to the press statement, Ram Saran Yadav, Principal of Rajkiya Krit Madhya Vidyalaya in Kedla of Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, while talking to media, stated that they were facing severe difficulties in conducting regular classes in the school after all 5 of his para teachers went on strike. He further informed that personnel of 26 batallion of CRPF deployed in the area undertook the job to teach the students in the school and now routine activities have resumed in full swing.

"Students are serious in their studies. They also take deep interest in our profession, weapons and other aspects of paramilitary force. The state education department thanked CRPF force for their efforts to the students and the school," said Vikas Pandey, Assistant Commandant at CRPF's Roam camp, as per reports.
