Delhi Govt to Provide Free NEET, CUET Coaching for 1.63 Lakh Govt School Students

The Delhi government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BIG Institute on Thursday to provide free crash courses for CUET and NEET preparation to students after Class 12. 

Under this agreement, the Delhi Directorate of Education and BIG Institute will offer free online coaching for NEET and CUET to 1.63 lakh students from government schools. The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Education Minister Ashish Sood.

Sood announced that the programme will commence on April 1, offering 180 hours of coaching over 30 days, with six hours of classes each day.

Chief Minister Gupta stated that the initiative aims to support government school students in gaining admission to medical and engineering colleges. 

"This will enable more students from Delhi government schools to secure places in reputed colleges and successfully pass entrance exams for medical and engineering courses," she said.
