Karnataka SET 2023 postponed, exam to be held in December; Check new date here

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET). KSET 2023 will be held on December 31 instead of Nov 26.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has postponed the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2023. The exam was scheduled to be held on November 26. As per the revised schedule, the KSET 21023 will now be held on December 31. The official notification has been released on kea.kar.nic.in and cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.

KSET 2023 Exam Pattern

There will be two papers in the examination. Paper 1 will have 50 compulsory questions carrying 100 marks. The duration of exam will be 1 hour from 10 am to 11 am. KSET paper 2 will have 100 questions carrying 200 marks. The exam will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm. 

About KSET 

The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) is an entry-level exam conducted by the Karnataka State Eligibility Test Centre Mysore. The exam is conducted to evaluate the eligibility of candidates who want to become assistant professors in the state. Candidates who have secured at least 55 per cent marks (without rounding off) (50 per cent for SC, ST, PwD, OBC, Transgender categories) in the Master's degree or equivalent examination can register for the examination.

Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course and candidates who have appeared for their Master’s degree final year exam and those whose exams have been delayed can also apply. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and after qualifying, eligibility certificates will be issued only on production of pass certificates of the Master's degree.
