GATE 2025: The Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee ( IIT Roorkee) has announced the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 results today, March 19. Candidates who have appeared for this engineering entrance exam can check and download their results by visiting the official website at gate2025.iitr.ac.in. 

Candidates can download their GATE 2025 scorecard from the official portal between March 28 and May 31. To access it, they must log in using their application number and password.

GATE Result 2025: Steps to Check  

Step 1: Visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in. 

Step 2: Click on the link that says ‘GATE 2025 Result’. 

Step 3: Enter your enrolment ID and password to log in. 

Step 4: Submit the details to view your result. 

Step 5: Download and save your scorecard for future reference.

GATE 2025:  Exam Date 

The GATE 2025 exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. It was held in two sessions each day – the morning session ran from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, while the afternoon session took place from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 

The question paper included three types of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. 

About GATE: 

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national examination that evaluates candidates’ knowledge in various undergraduate subjects, including Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities. 

GATE 2025 was held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and conducted by IIT Roorkee. The exam is organised in collaboration with IISc Bengaluru and seven IITs— IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee. It is conducted on behalf of the National Coordination Board – GATE, under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
