The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) will conduct the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2025 on March 23, 2025, for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses. According to reports, a total of 1,29,706 candidates are set to appear for the exam. 

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will announce the qualifying score for GUJCET along with the results. The GUJCET merit list is prepared by considering 50 per cent of the Class 12 exam score and 50 per cent of the GUJCET score. Admissions to colleges will be based on a candidate’s rank in the merit list.

GUJCET 2025: Exam Pattern  

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will conduct the GUJCET 2025 exam in offline mode as a pen-and-paper test across various cities in the state. 

The GUJCET 2025 question paper will consist of 120 questions, with 40 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam will have a total duration of 3 hours. The paper will be worth 120 marks, with each question carrying 1 mark, while 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer. 

GUJCET 2025: Answer Key 

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will release the GUJCET Answer Key after the completion of the exam. Along with the answer key, GSEB will also publish the response sheet on its official website. The response sheet will show the answers marked by each candidate. 

GUJCET 2025: Result Date 

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will announce the GUJCET 2025 result on its official website, though the exact result date has not yet been confirmed. Candidates who qualify for the exam will be included in the rank list. To pass, candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks, which is 40 per cent for the general category. After passing the exam, candidates will be required to participate in the GUJCET counselling process. 

About GUJCET 2025:  

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) for admission to BTech and BPharma programmes in various colleges across Gujarat. Seat allocation is based on candidates' scores in the examination.
