J&K Board Postpones Class 10-12 Exams For March 1,3 in Hard Zone Areas, Check Revised Dates Here
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has postponed exams for Classes 10, 11, and 12 that were set to be held on March 1 and 3.

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has postponed exams for Classes 10, 11, and 12 in the hard zones of J&K and Ladakh, an official statement said on Friday.
The decision was made by the school education board, keeping in mind the poor weather conditions. The dates have been revised for those examinations that were set to be held on March 1 and 3.

According to the official notice, the exam for the General English subject of Class 12th, which was earlier scheduled for March 1, will now be held on March 24.
For Class 10, now the examination of the Hindi/Urdu subjects will be held on March 25. It was scheduled to be held on March 1.

For Class 11, the examination of Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Physical Education, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Electronics, Travel Tourism and Hotel Management, English Literature and Food Technology will be held on March 25. Earlier candidates had to appear on March 3 for these said examinations.

Meanwhile, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was closed due to bad weather. Trucks, passenger vehicles, and buses, have been halted at Jakhani in Udhampur.
Traffic police have not allowed any vehicles to cross Jakhani onwards due to the highway closure.
IMD issued a warning of heavy rainfall. A fresh spell of rain lashes part of Uttarakhand's capital, Dehradun, and heavy snowfall has been reported in the districts of Doda and Bhalesa.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) have engaged in snow clearance at the Srinagar airport runway after the area received fresh snowfall today. The continuous rain and snow have lashed the region for the last 36 hours, leading to a significant drop in temperature.
