The Central Bank of India has announced the reopening of the application window for its recruitment drive to fill 3,000 apprenticeship positions across various states. Initially, the application process began on February 21 and concluded on March 27, with the examination scheduled for March 31. However, the recruitment board has decided to provide another opportunity for aspiring candidates.

Interested applicants can visit the official website Central Bank of India for more details and to complete their applications. The new application window is open now and will remain so until June 17. The examination for the recruitment drive is now set to take place on June 23. Candidates are urged to complete their applications promptly to avoid any last-minute issues.

Education Qualification and Age Limit

  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized institution or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Only those who have graduated after March 31, 2020, are eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must have been born between April 1, 1996, and March 31, 2004. Reserved category candidates will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.

Application Fee

  • SC, ST, EWS, and Women Candidates: Rs 600 + GST
  • PWBD Candidates: Rs 400 + GST
  • All Other Candidates: Rs 800 + GST

Stipend

Selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month. As this is an apprenticeship position, no additional allowances or benefits will be provided.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of a written examination followed by a language proficiency test.

Online Examination: The written exam will include five sections:

  1. Quantitative, General English, & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge
  2. Basic Retail Liability Products
  3. Basic Retail Asset Products
  4. Basic Investment Products
  5. Basic Insurance Products

Language Proficiency Test: Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the region they are applying for. They will be required to produce a certificate as proof of their language proficiency.
