The Uttar Pradesh Panchayat Sahayak Recruitment 2024 application process has officially commenced on June 15, 2024. This recruitment drive aims to fill 4,821 posts of Panchayat Sahayak / Accountant cum Data Entry Operator (DEO) across various panchayats in Uttar Pradesh. Interested candidates should note that applications are to be submitted offline, with the last date for submission being June 30, 2024.

Important Dates

  • Application Submission Period: June 15 to June 30, 2024
  • Application Transfer: July 1 to July 6, 2024
  • Merit List Preparation: July 7 to July 14, 2024
  • District Committee Review: July 15 to July 21, 2024
  • Appointment Letters Issuance: July 22 to July 24, 2024

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply:

  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed the 12th class.
  • Age Limit: Between 18 to 40 years old.
  • Residency: Must be a resident of the same Gram Panchayat where they seek to be appointed.
  • Reserved Categories: Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per state government rules and will be selected for panchayats with reserved category posts.

Application Process

  1. Download Application Form: Visit panchayatiraj.up.nic.in or prdfinance.up.gov.in to download the application form.
  2. Fill the Form: Print and carefully fill out the form.
  3. Submit the Form: Submit the completed application form along with necessary educational, age, and caste certificates either personally or by registered post to the relevant Gram Panchayat, development block office, or District Panchayat Raj Officer's office by June 30, 2024.

Selection Process

The selection process will be based on a merit list prepared by averaging the percentage marks obtained in high school and intermediate exams. If two candidates have the same marks, the older candidate will be given preference. In case of a tie in both marks and age, the candidate who applied first will be given preference.

Salary

Selected Panchayat Sahayaks will receive a monthly salary of Rs 6,000. Further details regarding the salary will be confirmed upon the release of the detailed notification.
