Congress to announce the next Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, after ousting incumbent BJP leader Raman Singh

Along with Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, Congress managed to bag flourished victorious even in the state of Chhattisgarh in the assembly elections. Bagging 68 out of 90 seats, reducing BJP to 14 seats, Congress recieved a majority in the state, outsing incumbent Raman Singh- led BJP.

After announcing their Chief Ministers in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, as Ashok Gehlot and Kamal Nath respectively, the party is set to make an announcement for the same chair even in Chhattisgarh on December 15.

UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress party president Rahul Gandhi held talks with top contenders in the CM race. The top four candidates for the CM chair are Bhupesh Baghel, T S Singh Deo, Tamradhwaj Sahu, and Charan Das Mahant.

TS Singh Deo, told ANI the reason behind the delay in the process of choosing the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, as there is more than one eligible name for the chair.
