Perhaps one of the most most politically concious Bollywood celebrity in the prevalent election season, Swara Bhasker called out the National General Secretary of the BJP Youth Wing (BJYM) who categorically was intrigued of her 'ideology'

Bhasker who had previously extended her unrestrained support to CPI(M)'s Begusarai candidate Kanhaiya Kumar, days ahead of the sixth phase campaigned for AAP's Atishi Marlena who is in fray with BJP's debutant Gautam Gambhir.

Susequently, the curious General Secretary of the BJYM questioned the "ideology" of Swara Bhasker, to which she retaliated saying that her "idealogy was the ideology of the Constitution" in contrast to 'BJP's ideology' that is fielding a terror accused in the Bhopal seat, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur.

Furthermore, Bhasker stated that she supports "individual candidates and causes and principles"

She said: "My ideology is the ideology of our Constitution. I support individual candidates and causes and principles of the Constitution. Don't worry about my ideology- please check the ideology of your party which is fielding a terror accused in Bhopal."

The political vehemance extended to Bollywood, as Bhasker in the past had responded to veteran actor Anupam Kher's unnamed tweet.

In a tweet, the Accidental Prime Minister actor, without specifying any name said that  'I've heard a member from Tukde Tukde Gang is contesting elections from Begusarai. The one who can not be of his country, how can he be yours?'

To which, Bhasker in response pointed out that Kher has probably mistaken Begusarai for Bhopal and is in fact speaking of BJP's terror accused Bhopal candidate, Sadhvi Pragya Thakur.

In her tweet she reponded saying, "Sir, I think you are talking about BJP's Bhopal candidate Pragya Thakur. Rightly said, the one who can't be for your country, who tried to break the country by conducting a terror attack, how could be for Bhopal or the Parliament. Jai Hind"

Along with that, the two contenders Marlena and Gambhir has persistently locked horns on twitter and otherwise. The East Delhi Lok Sabha seat will witness a compelling triangular contest between three candidates - new entrant cricketer-turned-politician Gautam Gambhir, Congress' Arvinder Singh Lovely and AAP candidate Atishi Marlena.
