CONFIRMED: Robert Vadra named star campaigner for Congress party in Lok Sabha elections 2019, says 'I will campaign across India'
Congress president Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law Robert Vadra on Sunday has confirmed that he will campaign for the grand old party for the ensuing polls.

In a big breaking development days ahead of Lok Sabha elections, Congress president Rahul Gandhi's brother-in-law Robert Vadra on Sunday has confirmed that he will campaign for the grand old party for the ensuing polls.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra said that 'he will campaign for Congress party all over India for the Lok Sabha elections 2019.
Later on being asked if he go to Amethi and Raebareli along with his brother-in- law Rahul Gandhi and mother-in-law Sonia Gandhi during the filing of the nominations papers, Robert Vadra confirmed, saying "Yes".
Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who is fighting the Lok Sabha elections from his traditional bastion Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, on Thursday filed nomination from Wayanad. He was accompanied by sister Priyanka Gandhi and senior Congress leaders K C Venugopal and Mukul Wasnik at the occasion.
Both UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi are awaited to file nomination papers from Raebareli and Amethi respectively for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.
A special CBI court on April 1 granted relief to Robert Vadra in a money laundering case, and asked him to furnish a personal bond of Rs five lakh and a surety of like amount. The court said Vadra cannot leave the country without prior permission of the court. It also imposed certain conditions on him and said he shall not tamper with any evidence, influence any witness in the case. Robert Vadra has been facing allegations of money laundering in purchase of a London-based property at 12, Bryanston Square worth 1.9 million pounds.
