The Congress and JD(S) coalition in Karnataka is up in shambles yet again, as senior JD(S) leader Basavaraj Horatti has now asked the Karnataka Assembly to be dissolved.

Expressing his disappointment over the functioning of the Congress-JD(S) alliance government, Horatti stated that people across the state are 'unhappy'

He said, "They should take a firm decision. Let them allow the government to function or dissolve the assembly. I am disappointed. I keep meeting people across the state. They're not happy. They say what are the statements that are coming out recently. I want to convey what people feel to the government."

In an attempt to bridge the rift in Karnataka's warring coalition Congress and JD(S), the state's Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy earlier on Saturday, asked the leaders of both alliance parties to restrain from making contentious statements since the coalition is attempting to form a new Central Government. He added these comments that may hamper their efforts to form a non-BJP government at the Centre

Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Thursday, dissing his JD(S) ally and Karnataka Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy tweeted that his elder brother H D Revanna was eligible to be Chief Minister as Congress veteran Mallikarjun Kharge was appropriate for higher political posts.

(HD Kumaraswamy is right. Mallikarjun Kharge can not only be CM but is eligible for a higher level of posts. There are a lot of people in Congress and JD(S). Among them, HD Revanna is also one. All rights are reserved)
