PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a rally in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh at 11:30 AM. This is the last leg of rallying by the Prime Minister before the last phase of elections on Sunday - May 19. The PM will be campaigning for the BJP's candidate Gajendra Patel for the Khargone constituency which is reserved for Scheduled Tribes. He faces Dr Govind Subhan Mujalda (Congress) for the Lok Sabha seat.

On May 19, the last leg of elections will be held in 7 states and 1 Union territory where 59 Lok Sabha seats are up for grabs in Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Chandigarh.

The top politicians battling on May 19 are :

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad faces Congress' Shatrughan Sinha from Patna Sahib, Sunny Deol faces Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar from Gurdaspur.
  • Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal from Ferozepur, BJP's Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, sitting TMC MLA Abhishek Banerjee faces CPI(M)'s Fuad Halim from West Bengal's Diamond Harbour.

Results are scheduled on May 23

Prime Minister Modi addressed the rally saying:

"This is the last campaign for the Lok Sabha election and I have got this opportunity to seek blessings from the Adivasi brothers and sisters. We aim for getting elected for the 2nd time with a large number of votes will form the govt again. 2019 elections are totally different than the previous government chosen by you."

Hitting out at Opposition for their demand of separate PM, he said:

"To destroy Terrorism and Naxalism we have got full support of the people. The country is one and those who want a separate PM for Jammu and Kashmir they should be punished this election." 

Slamming Karnataka CM H D Kumaraswamy for his remarks on the Army he said:

"The country also wants to punish, Congress supported CM of Karnataka who has given such a bad statement and Congress did not even clarify themselves whether they support or not this comment. He said those who don't get food they go to become a jawan. Isn't this an insult to our country and the mothers of our jawans? My adivasi child when he goes to the border he does not go there to eat food but to get bullets on his chest. They should be punished or not?"

Talking about his farmer scheme in which farmers are receiving Rs. 2000 in three months and slamming the Opposition's farm waiver he said:

"After 60 years of age farmers will get money every month this is what we are trying for. For farmers, every month the pension will be given. So once again when Modi sarkar comes this scheme will be done. They had promised that in 10 days to waive off farm loan. The farmers are asking where the waiver for farm loan? They have the brain of a devil and they have a two-and-a-half CM in MP."

Speaking about the various achievements of BJP he said:

"The business of harassing and transferring employees is equally flourishing. Criminals and dacoits are raising heads. Tribal and Dalit students yearn for perks. In every school in the past 5 years, we built toilets for sister and daughters in every household. Took up the task of providing electricity to the house. Gave free gas connection to the poorest of the poor's home. In the coming 5 years, we are going to work seriously on water problem."

Urging voters to vote for BJP so as to counter terrorism, he said:

"You are the high command for me. When you press the button of the lotus that means you have sunk a bullet into terrorists."
