A Delhi court reserved order for May 13 on Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishis plea to summon records from the state Election Commission on her complaint against BJP rival Gautam Gambhir alleging that he was enrolled as a voter in two assembly segments.

Metropolitan Magistrate Viplav Dabas reserved the order on the plea of Ms Marlena, Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi.

The court had earlier asked her to prove her locus standi for filing the petition against Gautam Gambhir.

The plea, filed by advocate Mohd Irshad, alleged that Mr Gambhir has enrolled "deliberately" and "illegally" as a voter in Karol Bagh and Rajinder Nagar assembly segment.

Earlier, AAP candidate Atishi Marlena had filed a criminal complaint against the cricketer-turned-politician at the Tis Hazari court on Thursday. Claiming that Gambhir is registered as a voter in two constituencies, Atishi Marlena had sought police investigation into the matter.

She had posted the screengrabs of the data from the Election Commission's website on her official Twitter account, which shows Gautam Gambhir as a registered voter from two constituencies - Rajinder Nagar(39) and Karol Bagh(23).

In the tweet, she had stated that 'Gambhir is going to get disqualified sooner or later for having two Voter ID cards".

The BJP candidate, in his election nomination affidavit to the Returning Officer, had stated that he is only registered to vote in the Assembly constituency Rajinder Nagar-39.
