Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker is all set to campaign for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Atishi Marlena in East Delhi on May 7. Taking to Twitter on Monday evening, the 'Veere Di Wedding' actress posted Atishi Marlena's picture and said that she will be campaigning for 'progressive, secular and the architect of Delhi education reform' in the National Capital.

She further added that she feels candidates like Atishi must be in the Parliament. Take a look:

Swara Bhasker has been openly extending her support to various political leaders in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Earlier, the Bollywood diva campaigned for CPI(M) candidate from Rajasthan's Sikar Amra Ram along with Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mewani and others.

She had then taken to Twitter and stated that Amra Ram is one of the most inspiring grassroots leaders who fought for farmers issues and rights, adding that he need to be in the Parliament.

Earlier in April, Swara celebrated her birthday by giving her first political speech supporting CPI leader Kanhaiya Kumar who is contesting elections from Begusarai. 

Furthermore, Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani on Sunday campaigned for AAP's East Delhi candidate Atishi Marlena in the National Capital. Taking to Twitter, Jignesh Mewani posted a few tweets where he can be seen campaigning for the AAP candidate. 

AAP candidate Atishi Marlena is locked in a three-way battle with BJP candidate Gautam Gambhir and Congress's Arvinder Singh Lovely. 

Delhi will go to polls in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 12. The results are scheduled to be declared on May 23.
