India is all set to witness the biggest celebration of democracy in just three days. Over 900 million citizens are gearing up to cast their votes to elect their preferred representatives for the 543 parliamentary seats. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a second straight term, and Congress president Rahul Gandhi aiming to topple the NDA government, the poll clouds have spread across the Indian sub-continent. Republic TV and CVoter have presented the National Approval Ratings i.e the biggest opinion poll ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

The stakes are high in the desert state of India, Rajasthan, that sends 25 MPs to the Lok Sabha. With Congress winning the Rajasthan Assembly Elections in December 2018, the party will aim to maintain its winning streak. Here are the projections for Rajasthan:

Seat-share projections

  • UPA- 5
  • NDA- 20

Vote-share projections:

  • UPA- 41.4%
  • NDA- 49.3%
  • Others 9.2%

Will Congress manages to hold its victory or will the BJP manages to gain back the seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections?

March Predictions: BJP was projected to triumph over UPA in Rajasthan by gaining 20 out of 25 seats in the Lok Sabha.

January predictions: The NDA was projected to win 18 seats out of the 25 leaving UPA with only 7 seats.

With both the BJP and Congress having had released their election manifestos enlisting their promises for the voters ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the stakes have increased to top-notch for the Prime Ministerial post. May 23 will decide the fate of the 543 Lok Sabha seats. Rajasthan will go to ballots in the fourth and fifth phases of the Lok Sabha Elections, i.e. on April 29 and May 6.
