VIRAL: Rahul Gandhi goofs up again, confuses Kumbha Ram Lift Yojana with Kumbhkaran and leaves netizens into splits

A video featuring Congress president Rahul Gandhi is doing the rounds of the social media. During his election campaign in poll-bound Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi was addressing a rally in Alwar district and in his speech he was heard saying Kumbhakaran Lift Yojana instead of Kumbha Ram Lift Yojana. This incident got taped into camera and the video has gone viral on the social media. 

Here's what happened as per the video. While addressing the rally, Rahul Gandhi inadvertently said, "Ashok Gehlot ji gave the money for the 'Kumbhakaran Lift Yojana.' Soon after he says that someone off camera corrected him and then he said that he meant 'Kumbha Ram Lift Yojana.'

Kumbharam Arya Lift Canal project is located near Malsisar town in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. Furthermore, Kumbharam Arya was a popular leader and freedome fighter in the state of Rajasthan with a mass following. Kumbhakarna on the other hand is Ravana's younger brother from the epic of Ramayana. 

Meanwhile, Rajasthan and Telangana are all set to go into assembly polls on December 7. The counting of votes will take place on December 11.
