National Approval Ratings: In Telangana, TRS is predicted to sweep the state, leaving none for NDA and UPA

With a three day countdown to the Lok Sabha elections 2019 underway, 900 million Indias citizens are set to exercise their role in the biggest democracy to determine their political representatives for 543 parliamentary seats. It's a political race where PM Narendra Modi is foreseeing his second term, while the Opposition is aiming to oust the NDA government.

With a three day countdown to the Lok Sabha elections 2019 underway, 900 million Indias citizens are set to exercise their role in the biggest democracy to determine their political representatives for 543 parliamentary seats. It's a political race where PM Narendra Modi is foreseeing his second term, while the Opposition is aiming to oust the NDA government. 

Republic TV and CVoter have presented the National Approval Ratings i.e the biggest opinion poll ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Here are the projections for Telangana that comprises of 17 Lok Sabha seats

K. Chandrashekar Rao's TRS is projected to secure a massive victory in the state by bagging 16 out of the 17 seats, leaving one for Asaduddin Owaisi's AIMIM, however TRS and AIMIM will be contesting in alliance.

Barring Nizamabad and few places in Telangana, campaigning by political parties for the first phase of April 11 Lok Sabha polls will come to an end by 5 pm Tuesday.

Campaigning in Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency, where 185 candidates are in the fray, will end at 6 pm and in 13 extremists-affected assembly seats covering five districts will end at 4 pm on Tuesday, Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar told a press conference Monday.

There will be prohibition on transmission of unauthorised bulk SMSs during the period of 48 hours ending with the hours fixed for conclusion of election, he said.

Previous predictions for Telangana: 

March prediction: TRS is projected to secure 16 seats, 1 for AIMIM leaving none of UPA and NDA. TRS is projected to secure the highest vote-share of 43.5%, followed by UPA at 31.7% and NDA at 13.9%

January's prediction: In Telangana, as far as the vote share was concerned, TRS was soaring high up with 42.4%, followed by UPA at 29%, NDA at 12.7% and AIMIM lagging with 7.7%. There has been no significant difference in the predictions of December and January, as TRS continued to politically dominate the state.
