The Karnataka legislative assembly is all set to witness the crucial floor test on Saturday at 4 pm as it will be deciding the fate of the state as to the Saturday’s floor test will decide which party will be forming the government in the southern state. Even as the concerned parties are hoarding their MLAs ahead of the vote of confidence to avoid defection, Republic TV has accessed the list of business for the Karnataka Assembly on Saturday.

Here's what the list of business looks like:

The House will begin at 11am with the newly appointed pro-tem speaker for the Karnataka Vidhana Soudha, K.G. Bopaiah,administering oath to the newly elected legislative assembly members and conducting the Supreme Court-ordered floor test on Saturday, a decision denounced by the Congress.

Bopaiah’s appointment as the pro-tem speaker had triggered a massive row on Friday with the Congress party questioning Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala as to why a BJP MLA was chosen for the post ahead of the floor test.

Following the ‘oath/affirmation’ by members, Karnataka chief minister BS Yeddyurappa will pass the motion to prove its majority in the House. The motion is titled as- “This House expresses its Confidence in the Council of Ministers headed by Shri B.S. Yeddyurappa”.

Earlier on Friday, in a dramatic hearing, the Supreme Court ordered a floor test, to be held on Saturday in Karnataka Vidhana Soudha at 4pm, asking concerned parties to prove their majority in the floor of the House to stake claim to the Karnataka government. During the hearing as the Congress and JD(S) agreed to the floor test, the BJP had argued for more time and had also asked for a secret ballot. However, the apex court declined both the requests made by the BJP.
