Haryana Assembly Elections: AAP Releases 6th List of 19 Candidates Ahead of Polls
The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday (September 12) released the sixth list of 19 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections.
New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday (September 12) released the sixth list of 19 candidates for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. The party has so far fielded 89 candidates for the 90-member Assembly.
The Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal party has filed Prem Garg from Panchkula, Ritu Arora from Panipat City, Dhanraj Kundu from Dardi, Geeta Sheoran from Loharu and Umesh Nalwa.
This comes as the party on Wednesday released its fifth list with nine candidates. In the list, the party fielded Anil Ranga from Narwana, Dr Goipchand from Nangal, Nayab Thekedar Bisru from Punahana, Pardeep Jutail from Pataudi and Dharmender Hindustani from Palwal.
Earlier in the day, the AAP fielded 21 candidates in the fourth list which included some prominent leaders like Raj Kaur Gill from Ambala Cantonment, Lalit Tyagi from Yamunanagar, Joga Singh from Ladwa, Satbir Goyat from Kithal, Sunil Bindal from Karnal, and Sukhbir Malik from Panipat Rural.
The party also announced 40-star campaigners for the Haryana Assembly Elections.
The list also includes names of Kejriwal's wife, Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Delhi Ministers Atishi, and Saurabh Bharadwaj, and AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Manish Sisodia.
Reacting to this Sisodia said, "I have come for the nomination filing of Anurag Dhanda. He has been my friend, a journalist and a senior leader of Haryana AAP. People are upset with the 10-year rule of BJP in Haryana and they want to free Haryana from the BJP . AAP will form the government here and work will be done on the guarantee of Arvind Kejriwal ."
