Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday won the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency for the third consecutive term with a record margin of 1,52,513 votes as the BJP leader's tally stood at 612970 votes out of the total 1130143 votes counted, according to the data compiled by the Election Commission.
Modi, who contested the general election from the BJP ticket, defeated Congress candidate Ajay Rai whose tally stood at 460457 votes.
