Patna: BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha stated on Thursday that the upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, scheduled for October-November 2025, will be contested under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. Nitish Kumar's backing is deemed essential for the NDA government's stability at the Centre.
Sinha's comments are perceived as a strategic assurance to Nitish Kumar to dissuade him from entertaining any propositions from the INDI alliance. If reports are to be believed, INDI alliance, which holds 234 seats, has been reaching out to Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu to persuade them to ditch the NDA.
