TN Result 2024 LIVE: INDI Alliance Leads In All 39 Seats, NDA Slips To Second In Dharmapuri

All INDI allies, including CPI, CPIM, VCK, IUML, and MDMK, are winning in at least one seat

PMK chief Anbumani Ramadoss' wife is the only candidate to be leading from Dharmapuri. DMK's Mani A has almost narrowed the gap, trailing by less than 100 seats.

Tamil Nadu BJP president Annamalai is facing an uphill task to win in Coimbatore

Thanga Tamilselvan from DMK is currently in the lead with 61,618 votes. TTV Dhinakaran from AMMKMNKZ is in the second place, having secured 31,933 votes. 

In Ramanathapuram constituency, Navaskani K. from IUML is currently in the lead with 109228 votes. Panneerselvam O S/O Ottakarathevar from INDEPENDENT is in the second place, having secured 60100 votes. The final Lok Sabha election result of Ramanathapuram constituency in Tamil Nadu is yet to come as we wait for more updates on the vote tally.

BJP crossed 10 per cent vote share-mark in Tamil Nadu. So far, gets 10.21 percent, news agency PTI reported.

In Dharmapuri, PMK leader Sowmiya Anbumani is leading by 100174 votes. DMK's leader Mani A is trailing.

Counting is underway in all the constituencies in Tamil Nadu

Former TN CM E Palaniswami's party is projected to see a 4.8 per cent decline in vote share as compared to 2019 elections, according to our polls. With 16.1% vote-share, AIADMK alliance is projected to get not more than one seat. BJP's vote-share is projected to grow mercurially at 22.2 percent as compared to 2019.

Republic Matrix Poll has projected a 31.9 per cent vote-share for the NDA alliance and anywhere between 0-3 seats. The INDI alliance is projected to get an impressive 50.4 per cent vote-share, translating to 35-38 seats

Responding to a question on the BJP-led NDA's poll prospects in the southern state, Annamalai beamed, saying, "Tamil Nadu will give a wonderful result on June 4", while claiming that it will be "in double digits".

"It's a very strong alliance [that we have forged] in the state this time, a sitting MP is also contesting on the BJP ticket…Tamil Nadu will give a wonderful result on June 4, and it will be in double digits", he said.
