NDA Super States: Where BJP is Projected to Get Over 50% Vote Share

Republic-PMARQ and Matrize have predicted a landslide victory for the ruling BJP-led NDA government, with projections indicating a sweeping win of 353-369 seats

New Delhi: As India braces for the most awaited results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, most exit polls predict a clean win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). While the '400 paar' target may not be within reach, the consistent leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has steered the BJP-NDA coalition towards an emphatic victory, with most exit polls predicting a formidable tally of 350+ of the 543 seats in the Lok Sabha. Republic-PMARQ and Matrize have predicted a landslide victory for the ruling BJP-led NDA government, with projections indicating a sweeping win of 353-369 seats. However, the overall vote share is predicted to be around 48 per cent.

Uttar Pradesh:

The 2024 Republic-Matrize and P-MARQ Exit Poll results for Uttar Pradesh, where elections were held across 80 seats in seven phases, predicted a sweeping victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA with 69-74 seats. The Voteshare for the BJP is predicted at 50 per cent, while INDI (SP) and Others are expected to settle at 39 per cent and 12 per cent respectively.

Karnataka:

In Karnataka, as per the Republic's exit poll, the NDA is set to secure a vote share of 50 per cent, while INDI is said to secure 42 per cent and others are expected to settle at 8 per cent.

Gujarat:

The Lok Sabha elections for all 26 seats of Gujarat were held on May 7 in Phase 3  with several prominent leaders including Union Ministers Amit Shah, Parshottam Rupala and Mansukh Mandaviyain the fray. This year some 266 candidates were in the fray.

According to Republic-PMARQ and Matrize pollsters, NDA is expected to garner a vote share of 63 per cent, while Congress will record a 34 per cent share.

Rajasthan:

Republic TV-PMarq exit poll result has predicted a massive and clean 23 seats for the BJP-led alliance in Rajasthan with 23 seats out of 25. The Congress on the other hand is likely to get just 2 seats in the state.

In the case of vote shares of the Lok Sabha, the BJP is forecast to secure a voter share of 55 per cent, while Congress and others are expected to secure a vote share of 39 per cent and 6 per cent.

Chhattisgarh:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which swept through Chhattisgarh in the previous two Lok Sabha elections is likely to 
to achieve the same feat in the 2024 polls by winning 9 seats out of a total of 11 in the state, according to Republic-PMARQ exit poll results.

The elections on 11 Lok Sabha seats of Chhattisgarh were held in three phases- April 19, April 26 and May 7.

The BJP-led NDA is expected to garner a 51 per cent vote share, while the Congress allies will record 40 per cent, according to the Republic-PMARQ prediction.

Jharkhand:

In India's general elections, the Republic's exit polls have predicted that the BJP will have a clean win and will secure a vote share of 55 per cent, while the Congress is predicted to get a vote share of 33 per cent and others will stand at 12 per cent.

Meanwhile, another exit poll of the Republic Media Network- Matrize showed these states where The BJP-NDA coalition will breach 50 per cent vote share.

Bihar:

According to Republic PMARQ Exit Polls prediction, the NDA comprising the BJP, the Janata Dal-United (JDU) and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) is likely to secure a 58.1 per cent vote share, while INDI and others are expected to settle at 30.3 and 11.6 per cent share respectively.  

Maharashtra:

In Maharashtra, Republic Matrize Exit Poll Prediction showed a clear majority to the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections with given 30-36 seats to the NDA, and 13-19 seats to the INDI Alliance, while it has given no seats to others, out of 48 seats.

The vote share of the NDA is said to be settled at 53.3 per cent. NDA is predicted to settle at 31.6 per cent, while NDA alliance with Shiv Sena and NSP-AP are predicted to get 15.4 per cent and 6.2 per cent of the vote share.

Madhya Pradesh:

In Madhya Pradesh, NDA is projected to gain 28 of the 29 seats up for grabs with the INDI alliance remaining limited to a single seat. However, both exit polls predict a different vote share.

Matrize predicts a 63.8 per cent share for NDA, while Matrize is projecting 52 per cent. However, for the INDI alliance, as per the Matrize exit poll, it will win 31.3 per cent of the total votes whereas P-MARQ projects a 38 per cent vote share for the Congress party and its allies. As for other parties, Matrize and P-MARQ predict 4.9 per cent and 10 per cent respectively.  

Goa:

As per the exit poll, NDA is predicted to secure an overall vote share of 56.6 per cent, while Congress will settle at 41.1 per cent.

In 2019, the BJP secured 51.9 per cent of the vote share, while the Congress settled at 43.6 per cent.

Himachal Pradesh:

The Republic Matrize Exit Poll predicted that the BJP is said to secure a vote share of 58.8 per cent, while Congress will stand with a vote share of 38.6 per cent.  

However, the voting percentage of the BJP has declined as compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

In 2019, the BJP recorded a vote share of 69.7 per cent and Congress secured a vote share of 27.5 per cent.

Delhi:

The data from the exit polls showed that the BJP is set to garner approximately 58.2 per cent of the total votes, showcasing a significant lead over its rivals. Meanwhile, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is predicted to secure around 22.1 per cent of the votes, positioning it as the second most favoured choice among voters. The Congress party is shown to trail behind with a mere 17.8 per cent of the projected vote share, placing it in a distant third.

Assam:

As BJP is the ruling government in Assam, the saffron party is set to secure a clean win again. The party is said to secure a vote share of 49 per cent, while the opposition, Congress will secure a vote share of 35 per cent and others will get 13 per cent.

Haryana:

In Haryana, as far as vote share is concerned, the NDA is predicted to secure a voter share of 54.8 per cent, while INDI will score a vote share of 36.7 per cent and 8.5 per cent for Others.

Andhra Pradesh:

The 2024 Republic-Matrize Exit Poll for Andhra Pradesh has predicted a vote share of 45 per cent for the NDA,w while only 2 per cent for Congress, 43 per cent for YSRCP and 10 per cent for others.
