Odisha Lok Sabha Election Result: Odisha, in the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections voted across four phases which spanned across several weeks, notably from 13th May to 1st June. Voters of Odisha, in the 18th parliamentary elections, have exercised their democratic right of voting to elect 21 Lok Sabha members. Bharatiya Janata Party, Congress and BJD are the three major parties of this state. Republic-PMarq exit polls predict the BJP to secure 11 seats, BJD to secure 9 seats and Congress to emerge victorious only on a single seat. Back in 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP secured 8 seats and BJD emerged victorious with 12 seats. The INC back then too, in 2019 just managed to secure one seat in the Lok Sabha Chunav result.

Sambalpur: This particular constituency is likely to see a fierce contest between Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJD's Pranab Prakash Das. Pradhan this time is replacing  BJP MP Nitesh Ganga Deb. After ending on the losing side in the 2009 election, Pradhan later went to Rajya Sabha from Bihar and Madhya Pradesh.

Puri: Famous for the Jagannath temple, BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra is contesting against BJD’s Arup Patnaik who is also a former Mumbai police commissioner. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Patra lost to BJD’s Pinaki Mishra by a narrow margin
